UKAPDM Home

The UKAPDM was formed in 1998, thanks to the vision of Richard Prior, Christopher Borthen and the founder members who got the project off the ground, and to the dedication of Christopher Borthen in the role of Honorary Secretary and Treasurer in the early years. The Association demands the highest standards in all aspects of Deer Management and stalking and continues to monitor and promote these standards.

The Association is fortunate and honoured to have Richard Prior as Patron.

With membership comprising Deer Managers who are working in a professional capacity, either full or part-time, with many members who are "household names" in the deer world, the Association can offer a unique and unprecedented wealth of knowledge and experience in the management of deer. The UKAPDM is listed by DEFRA as a consultee.
